Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle the olive oil and fresh lemon juice evenly over the top of the chicken.
In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
Arrange the lemon slices on top of and around the chicken in the baking dish.
Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.
