15-Minute Teriyaki Steak Bites with Green Peppers

Better-Than-Takeout Teriyaki Beef Chunks

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs Beef sirloin Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 large Green bell pepper Chopped
  • 1 large White onion Chopped
  • 0.5 cup Teriyaki sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce Low sodium preferred
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Divided use
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds For garnish
  • 0.25 cup Scallions Chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add 1.5 lbs cubed beef sirloin and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove beef and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add 2 chopped green bell peppers, 1 chopped white onion, and 1 tbsp minced garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Return the beef to the skillet. Pour in 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce and 2 tbsp soy sauce.
  • Stir-fry everything together for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meat and vegetables.
  • Garnish with 1 tbsp sesame seeds and 0.25 cup chopped scallions before serving.
