Instructions
Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the star anise, sliced garlic, minced ginger, and red chili slices. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the broccoli florets to the wok and toss to coat in the aromatic oil. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Continue to stir-fry for another 3 to 4 minutes until the broccoli is crisp-tender.
Remove from heat. Discard the star anise.
Garnish with white and black sesame seeds before serving.
