Broccoli Stir-Fry with Garlic and Sesame

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Broccoli florets Bite-sized pieces
  • 3 cloves Garlic Thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger Minced
  • 1 Red chili Sliced
  • 2 whole Star anise For flavor infusion
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp White sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp Black sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the star anise, sliced garlic, minced ginger, and red chili slices. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the wok and toss to coat in the aromatic oil. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Continue to stir-fry for another 3 to 4 minutes until the broccoli is crisp-tender.
  • Remove from heat. Discard the star anise.
  • Garnish with white and black sesame seeds before serving.
