In a large bowl, add the chicken thighs, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss well until the chicken is evenly coated.
Arrange the seasoned chicken in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Brush the chicken generously with the BBQ sauce.
Turn your oven to the broil setting. Return the pan to the oven and broil for 3-5 minutes, watching closely, until the sauce is sticky, bubbling, and slightly charred at the edges.
Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh chopped cilantro, and serve immediately.
