Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Sour cream Full fat recommended for best texture
  • 10 oz Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies Thoroughly drained to prevent watery dip
  • 8 oz Shredded cheddar cheese Freshly grated preferred
  • 1 oz Ranch seasoning mix Standard dry packet
  • 0.5 cup Diced green peppers Finely diced
  • 0.25 cup Sliced jalapenos Pickled or fresh, based on spice preference
  • 1 bag Tortilla chips Sturdy chips for dipping

Instructions
 

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and ranch seasoning mix.
  • 2. Fold in the drained diced tomatoes and green chilies, shredded cheddar cheese, diced green peppers, and sliced jalapenos.
  • 3. Stir the mixture until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • 4. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
  • 5. Serve chilled with tortilla chips.
