Cream cheese

Chicken broth

Heavy cream

chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning evenly over the chicken.
Pour the chicken broth around the chicken. Scatter the minced garlic and cubed butter on top.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
About 30 minutes before serving, cut the cream cheese into chunks and add it to the slow cooker along with the heavy cream.
Shred the chicken using two forks directly in the pot. Stir well to blend the melted cream cheese and heavy cream into a smooth sauce.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot over rice or with crusty bread.
