Cajun seasoning
Use a low-sodium brand if preferred

Unsalted butter
Sliced into pats

Chicken broth
Low sodium

Minced garlic

Instructions
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning evenly over the meat.
Add the minced garlic, chicken broth, and sliced unsalted butter on top of the seasoned meat.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shreddable.
Remove the meat, shred it with two forks, and return it to the slow cooker.
Stir in the heavy cream and cubed cream cheese. Cover and cook on HIGH for an additional 30 minutes until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Serve hot over steamed white rice or with warm crusty bread.
