Creamy White Bean Hummus

Ingredients
  

  • 15 oz White beans Canned, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cloves Garlic Peeled
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil Extra virgin, plus more for garnish
  • 1/4 cup Grated cheese Parmesan or Romano
  • 1/2 tsp Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper Freshly cracked
  • 2 tbsp Parsley Fresh, chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Drain and rinse the white beans thoroughly in a colander.
  • Add the rinsed white beans, peeled garlic cloves, olive oil, grated cheese, salt, and black pepper to a food processor or high-powered blender.
  • Blend the mixture on high for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth and completely creamy. If the hummus is too thick, blend in water one teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Transfer the blended hummus to a serving bowl.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil before serving with raw veggies or crackers.
