Add the rinsed white beans, peeled garlic cloves, olive oil, grated cheese, salt, and black pepper to a food processor or high-powered blender.
Blend the mixture on high for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth and completely creamy. If the hummus is too thick, blend in water one teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
Transfer the blended hummus to a serving bowl.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil before serving with raw veggies or crackers.
