Easy Caprese Skewers with Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pint Cherry tomatoes Washed and dried
  • 1 lb Fresh mozzarella balls Bocconcini or pearls, drained
  • 1 bunch Fresh basil leaves Large leaves torn in half if necessary
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic glaze Store-bought or homemade reduction
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil High quality for drizzling
  • 1 tsp Dried herbs Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1 pinch Salt and black pepper To taste

Instructions
 

  • Wash and thoroughly dry the cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves.
  • Thread one cherry tomato, one folded basil leaf, and one mozzarella ball onto each wooden skewer. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used.
  • Arrange the assembled skewers evenly on a large serving platter.
  • Drizzle the skewers with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  • Sprinkle evenly with dried herbs, salt, and freshly ground black pepper immediately before serving.
