For the taco mix, whisk together chili powder, ground cumin, garlic powder, smoked paprika, kosher salt, and dried oregano in a small bowl. Transfer to the first jar.
For the beef BBQ rub, combine dark brown sugar, coarse black pepper, kosher salt, onion powder, and mustard powder in a separate bowl. Break up any sugar lumps with a fork. Transfer to the second jar.
Seal both jars tightly and store in a cool, dark pantry for up to 6 months.
