Place the 4 chicken breasts in a shallow dish. Whisk together 1 tbsp olive oil, 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Pour over the meat and marinate for 20 minutes.
Heat the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the marinated breasts for 6 to 7 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165 F. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
In a small bowl, toss the 2 cups of diced strawberries and 1/2 cup of sliced fresh basil. If desired, drizzle with 1 tbsp honey.
Top the warm cooked chicken with the fresh berry and herb mixture before serving.
