Dry Red Wine
Rioja, Merlot, or Pinot Noir recommended

Fruit Punch
Chilled

cup
Red Apple
Cored and thinly sliced

cup
Fresh Cranberries
Or pitted cherries

Orange
Sliced into rounds, for garnish

For serving
Instructions
Pour the bottle of red wine and the fruit punch into a large pitcher.
Add the sliced red apples and cranberries (or cherries) to the pitcher.
Stir the mixture gently to combine.
Refrigerate the pitcher for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the fruit flavors to infuse the wine.
Just before serving, stir in the orange slices.
Fill glasses with ice and pour the chilled sangria over the ice to serve.
