Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs

Ingredients
  

  • 24 oz Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Garlic
  • 0.33 cup Honey
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Season the meat evenly with the salt and black pepper.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meat and sear for 5 to 7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Whisk in the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • If a thicker sauce is desired, whisk the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water, stir it into the skillet, and simmer for 1 additional minute.
  • Return the cooked meat to the skillet, tossing well to coat evenly with the glaze. Serve hot over rice.
