salmon fillets
cut into four 6 oz portions

tbsp
olive oil
or melted unsalted butter
2
tbsp
fresh dill
chopped, plus extra for garnish

medium lemon
thinly sliced
2
cloves
garlic
minced

kosher salt

tsp
black pepper
freshly ground
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Pat them gently dry with a paper towel.
Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the salmon fillets. Rub the minced garlic over the top of each piece.
Season evenly with kosher salt and black pepper. Sprinkle the chopped fresh dill over the fillets.
Arrange the lemon slices evenly on top of each seasoned salmon fillet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Remove from the oven, garnish with extra fresh dill if desired, and serve immediately.
