Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets Cod fillets About 6 oz each
  • 1/4 cup Butter Melted
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tbsp Capers Drained
  • 1/2 tsp Salt Kosher salt preferred
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper Freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley Chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) [1.1]. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels to prevent mushiness. Season both sides evenly with the salt and black pepper, then arrange them in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, and capers.
  • Pour the butter mixture evenly over the fillets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the fish reaches an internal temperature of 145°F and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
