Pat the cod fillets completely dry using paper towels to ensure a flaky texture.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, paprika, kosher salt, and black pepper.
Place the cod fillets in the prepared baking dish and generously brush the butter mixture over the top of each fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature of 145°F).
Remove from the oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve immediately with extra lemon wedges.
