Patriotic Layered Gelatin Cups

Ingredients
  

  • 3 oz Cherry or Strawberry Gelatin Red layer
  • 3 oz Blue Raspberry Gelatin Blue layer
  • 2 packet Unflavored Beef Gelatin Packets (approx 0.5 oz total)
  • 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk For the creamy white layer
  • 1.5 cup Vodka Divided (1/2 cup per layer). Omit and replace with cold water for an alcohol-free version.
  • 3 cup Boiling water Divided (1 cup per layer)
  • 1.5 cup Cold water Divided (1/2 cup per layer)
  • 2 tbsp Star sprinkles Red, white, and blue

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the red layer: Dissolve 3 oz red gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup vodka. Pour into small plastic cups, filling 1/3 full. Chill for 1 hour until set.
  • Prepare the white creamy layer: Sprinkle 2 packets of unflavored beef gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water and let sit for 5 minutes. Add 1 cup boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  • Whisk 14 oz sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup vodka into the unflavored beef gelatin mixture. Let cool completely to room temperature.
  • Pour the cooled white mixture over the set red layer, filling another 1/3 of the cups. Chill for 1 hour until set.
  • Prepare the blue layer: Dissolve 3 oz blue gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup vodka. Let cool to room temperature.
  • Pour the cooled blue mixture over the set white layer. Chill for at least 2 hours or until fully firm.
  • Garnish with patriotic star sprinkles just before serving.
