Patriotic M&M Cookies and Cream

Ingredients
  

  • 15.25 oz White cake mix 1 standard size box
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 count Large eggs Room temperature
  • 1 tbsp Milk Whole or 2%
  • 1 cup Crushed chocolate sandwich cookies Roughly chopped, not completely powdered
  • 1/2 cup Red, white, and blue M&M's Divided use if saving some for the tops
  • 1/4 cup Red, white, and blue sprinkles Jimmies or nonpareils
  • 2 tbsp Star-shaped sprinkles For garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and milk until a thick dough forms.
  • Gently fold in the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, red, white, and blue M&M's, and the red, white, and blue sprinkles.
  • Scoop 1.5-tablespoon portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Press a few star-shaped sprinkles onto the top of each dough ball.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden but the centers remain soft. Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
