Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan and Lemon

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Wash the asparagus and trim or snap off the tough, woody ends.
Place the asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Drizzle evenly with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat.
Arrange lemon slices over the top of the asparagus.
Roast in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and easily pierced with a fork.
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and lemon zest.
Serve warm alongside your favorite main course.
