Roasted Asparagus Za'atar

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Asparagus Woody ends trimmed
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Za'atar seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper Freshly cracked
  • 1/2 Lemon Juiced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Snap or trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears.
  • Place the asparagus on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle evenly with za'atar, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  • Toss the asparagus until evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
  • Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the spears, until tender and lightly caramelized.
  • Remove from the oven and immediately squeeze fresh lemon juice over the hot asparagus.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
