Instructions
Mix warm milk, active dry yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Combine with flour, salt, egg, 4 tbsp softened butter, and 2 minced garlic cloves to form a dough. Knead for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size. Punch down, divide into 12 equal pieces, and shape into smooth balls.
Arrange the dough balls in a greased 9x13 baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
Mix 3 tbsp melted butter, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tbsp chopped parsley. Brush generously over the warm rolls immediately upon removing them from the oven.
