Soft Garlic Herb Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Milk Warm, approximately 110 degrees F
  • 2.25 tsp Active dry yeast Equivalent to one packet
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 3.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg Large size, room temperature
  • 7 tbsp Unsalted butter 4 tbsp softened for dough, 3 tbsp melted for topping
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, minced and divided
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley Finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Mix warm milk, active dry yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Combine with flour, salt, egg, 4 tbsp softened butter, and 2 minced garlic cloves to form a dough. Knead for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth.
  • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size. Punch down, divide into 12 equal pieces, and shape into smooth balls.
  • Arrange the dough balls in a greased 9x13 baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
  • Mix 3 tbsp melted butter, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tbsp chopped parsley. Brush generously over the warm rolls immediately upon removing them from the oven.
